I keep coming back because the menu is way more creative than... i don’t even know what to compare it to. There’s always something unexpected to try, and it makes the place feel fun every time.

I’m careful about what I eat because of a couple food allergies, so I don’t like taking chances with meal kits. Purple Carrot has been a nice surprise, though. The ingredients are easy to see, and I can look everything over before I order instead of just hoping it’ll be fine.

There are definitely some meals I have to pass on, but skipping them is straightforward, which I appreciate. So far I’ve felt comfortable using it, and the food has actually been really good too

We’ve been using Purple Carrot for a few weeks now, and it’s been good for our family. The meals feel doable on weeknights, and my kids can actually help with little things without it turning into a whole production.

I like that we’re eating more veggie-based dinners without anyone making a big fuss about it. There’s usually at least one thing everyone likes, which is a win in my house. My only annoyance is that some of the communication could be clearer, especially around timing and what to expect with certain recipes, because a few have taken longer than it made it sound.

That said, nothing has been a dealbreaker. It’s still made dinner feel less stressful overall, and I’m happy we’re trying meals we probably wouldn’t have picked on our own. I’d give it 5 stars.

I’ve been trying Purple Carrot for a few weeks now, and to me the meals feel really well thought out. They don’t come across like just a bunch of veggies thrown together or some basic salad situation. Most of the dishes have a nice mix of vegetables, grains, plant-based protein, and healthy fats, so they feel complete without being overly heavy. The portions have been just right for me too, enough to feel full, but not like I need to lie down afterward. I like that I can eat plant-based meals and still feel genuinely satisfied. Definitely a 5-star experience in my book.

The meals are decent overall, but the calorie info can be kind of hit or miss. Sometimes it’s not as easy to find or compare as I’d like, and a few recipes ended up being higher in calories than I expected. It’s not a dealbreaker, just a little frustrating if you’re trying to track what you eat.

Thankfully, everything arrived just fine and in good condition, so while the shipping was a little pricey, the overall experience turned out okay...

They’re easy to grab, taste good, and somehow aren’t boring, which I’ll admit I fully expected them to be. Nice little surprise, considering that’s not even what I signed up for

I wasn’t sure Purple Carrot would deliver to my area, just based on how other meal kits usually skip my zip code. But something told me to check anyway, and I’m glad I did. Seeing that they actually deliver out here was a really nice surprise

liked the meals more than expected. Sauces were probably the best part, and nothing tasted bland. Had a couple recipes I probably wouldn’t choose again, but most were really good and easy enough to make.

The box showed up looking neat, and the ice was still cold, so everything seemed to be packed well.

The refund was a bit slow at first, and I kept checking the exact amount and the date on my bank app because I wasn’t sure if it was actually moving. I contacted support, and they eventually got it sorted out. The money showed back up in my account, so it ended fine, just took a little longer than I expected.

I’ll admit it, Purple Carrot makes the whole skipping-weeks thing painless. I can pause or skip deliveries online without having to call anyone, which is a relief when we’re slammed or heading out of town. I wasn’t sure I’d care that much, but it does make the service a lot less stressful to keep using.

There was only one time when my box arrived later in the day than it normally does, but even then it still came on the expected day, everything was packed well, and the food was still cold when I opened it. Overall, it’s just been nice not having to stress about whether the dinner ingredients are actually going to show up.
